SLOVENIA & ITALIA – from Bled to Trieste
The bike tour begins in Slovenia, in the town of Bled, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and reaches Italy from Tarvisio.
From there we take the Alpe Adria Cycle Route which follows the ancient railway track connecting Salzburg to the sea of Grado. Spectacular panoramic views always slightly downhill and easy and exciting routes that the lucky cyclists enjoy.
We will make some important detours to appreciate Friuli Region with its history and its great food like San Daniele del Friuli Ham and to visit a collection of UNESCO World Heritage sites: Cividale del Friuli, Palmanova, the 3 squares of Trieste and Udine.
